Updates and stuff

Hello everyone. Well I'm still recovering from that AWESOME INTERVIEW with Kevin and Laoren. So fun. So fun. But its time to get going and cover sum inportant information that's out there today! There's a lot! So get reading and be sure to post a comment if you read it. Otherwise how will i know what you think? Even if the comment just says, "good" or "bad" do it. :) Thanks. Get reading:

Well it looks like their is a family fun panel out there now. That's funy that its called a panel though. It makes me think of a bored. I would definitely have chosen a better name but oh well.  Marvin says this on his blog:
Hello everybody, The Family Fun Panel is out, and by the looks of it, it looks neat! But, I won't be using it, though the buttons look neat. I also realized that the sundae is rather...slushy. When the kids sip out of it, it sinks and spills over. And it's rather easy if I want to say it. But I loved Diane's accent in the beginning! Well....if you wanna do it, do it! But since we don't get soda water here, I can't make it. Does anybody know a good sub for soda water? Marvin

We found out a little while ago about the family fun panel. And now you can see the video! The heart of odyssey just did an interview with Kevin McCreary and Loren Crisp! Loren is my grandpa's name. I don't know anyone named Kevin. Yeahhh..... not a long post, but I want to get to 100 soon! And think of a clever podcast. Would it be better scripted or not? Funny or not exactly funny? I'll have to think about that.....

Notice that she talks about our innerview! YAY!!! Audrey you win the prize of the only blogger who talked about our interview.

And Odyssey Way wrote this:
Well, on the Official Site there is a new page. On that page there is a video of Brock and Diane Ingolia, who does guest relations at Focus, with a family making a Wod-Fam-Choc-Sod (World Famous Chocolate Soda). This is what the Family Fun Panel buttons are about, too. On CBD (Christian Book Distributers) website, there's a page for certain buttons, like this one for Heroes(which the project is based off the episode "Karen" and has you write a letter or make a card for someone in a hospital or nursing home). In fact, the repack of Heroes is now available and includes the panel, although you cannot purchase the button until around June 25.

"What will they think of next, telephones without cords!" -Wooton

Telephones without chords. Hahahaha he's funny.
The team at Focus on the Family is always thinking up ways to improve the Adventures in Odyssey experience. We briefly mentioned in a previous update that a new "Family Fun Panel" would be making its way into AIO albums. We said: All future Odyssey releases and re-releases (including album 52) will feature a brand-new "Family Fun Panel." Each of these bonus extras will contain a video of Brock Eastman and Diane Ingolia trying to complete tasks with various families. Listeners are encouraged to buy future releases and repacks to obtain instructions for each album's activity. For example, the upcoming repack of Heroes features a challenge based off the episode Karen and involves writing a letter or a card to someone who is hospitalized or in a nursing home. Those who complete the challenge and let Focus on the Family know will receive a button that contains the album number and a picture of what the challenge was. This new challenge for album owners only allows listeners to get involved and have fun in the process. For those of you who already purchased your copy of album 51, Take It from the Top,you'll recall that there's a feature in the bonus insert containing a recipe for the Wod-Fam-Choc-Sod (Whit's "World Famous Chocolate Soda"). This, in fact, ties in with the firstFamily Fun Panel video released on the Official Site. Join Brock Eastman (product marketing) and Diane Ingolia as they help a family make one of these delicious sodas. Do you remember Diane Ingolia from several Adventures in Odyssey episodes? Yes, she has appeared in a number of shows. Can you find her? As you enjoy the new video, you may want to keep in mind that the repack of album 3,Heroes, is now available. It is one of the first albums to introduce the "Family Fun Panel" to Odyssey collections. You never know what you're going to get with Adventures in Odyssey!
And the voice of odyssey said this:

The Family Fun Panel is a brand-new addition to all released or re-released Odyssey albums. Each new album will include a CD-Rom feature with a video on it. The video will feature Brock Eastman and Diane Ignolia performing tasks specified in the pull-out poster inside the album. The first of many Family Fun Panel videos has just been posted on the Official Adventures in Odyssey Podcast Blog . See it here. This videois included in Album 51: Take It From the Top.

My personal thoughts: A little corny, but entertaining. I don't know how long the other videos will be, but this one seemed a bit short. One thing I noticed was that Brock called the mom in the video a "lovely lady", and he's mentioned before that he has a wife and two kids. Hmm... Anyway. I also was impressed with the look of the button that participants who contact FOTF will receive. It looked cooler than I thought it would. I'll look forward to seeing more of these in the future.
So its quite the weak hear.

Also Jacob Isum wrote a review on the odyssey scoop about For the Birds. Tho it was an ok review he really kinda was offensive to some people. He doesn't like my bulleted review's (although I've only done one). Come on Jacob! Everyone does them, why are they so bad?

And be sure to check out our podcast wear we interviewed Laoren Crisp and Kevin MacReare! Its awesome.

Goodbye till then. (whenever that is)

  1. Wow, I was surprised. Your spelling is almost perfect all the way through. Keep the blog this color please. It reeeally goes well with all of the other colors. Great job. But the logo still looks a bit messy. Try changing the left side around a bit. Keep Whit and the heart though.
